Help error window keeps popping up

Nero; This program requires the file advrcntr2.dll, which was not found on this system.

Pops up everything I open a video file. I uninstalled Nero 7 trial recently and this error now keeps coming.

Edit: Searched google and it seems a few others also have the same problem after uninstalling the demo. I've tried registry cleaners and all but nothing.

hmm make sure the video files aren't set to open with nero.

open my computer - tools - folder options - file types

They're all set to open with MPC.

does it do the same when, for example, you goto windows media player --> file --> open?

you may need to reinstall the codecs, or reinstall, then reuninstall nero :eek:

Reinstalled Klite Codec but got a "failed to write registry key" error.

Managed to continue installation though, but the nero error still there.
