Help! EVGA 780i!!!

Why cant I use the PCI Express slot (the small one) for the sound card with a GTX 260!!! I feel cheated!!
Because the GFX card covers the slot.
But if its a PCI-E x1 card you can use either of the other 2 x16 slots and it will be fine.
If you plan on going SLI in future then stick it in the middle slot
