anyone know how this works?

Got two buildings, A and B.

Frontage of A :15
Depth of A: 25

Its using 9m zones and the lecturer has broken it down like this

15 x 9 = 135
15 x 9/2 = 67.5
15 x 6/4 = 22.5
225

Same for B

Frontage : 10
Depth : 25

Broken down like this:

10 x 9 = 90
10 x 9/2 = 45
10 x 6/4 = 15
10 x 24/6= 40
190

I havent done maths is 5 years, dont have a clue why he is breaking it down like that, something about getting it into 9m zones. Any one explain the logic behind the breaking down of it?

I'm sure more people would help, but your question is very confusing indeed. Try rewording it. I'm not sure what you even mean by 9m zones, or even the purpose behind your question!

Thats the exam question:
Your client is considering the purchase of a shop investment (Property A) in a prime retail street. The ground floor has a 10m frontage and a depth of 24m. The first floor is of the same dimensions and reached by an escalator (elevator), which is excluded from the dimensions given.

The shop is let to a major company at a rent of £300,000 per annum on a full repairing and insuring basis. The lease was granted 3 years ago for 20 years with 5 year upward only rent reviews.

The adjoining single storey shop (Property B) was let recently at £500,000 per annum on similar terms and sold for £8,000,000. It has a frontage of 15m and a depth of 24m.

The lecturer provides the solution, the part i cant understand is the first part...where he breaks it down into zones. Im sure its still quite confusing, the lecturer is a tard, no one really understands his notes or answers :'(

I don't see a question there

That makes absolutely no sense to me, the question doesnt even tell you what your goal is

Plus 6 cans of Holsten Pills does not bode well either...............

Jonsey as wonderful as your post is, it has no question. How can one answer a question without knowing what it is? Here is another one you can try in a similar style to yours.

An area of sky, dimensions 10miles by 5 miles is blue.
An area of sky, dimensions 15 miles by 5 miles is grey.

Happy hunting!

From this information, i could postulate that more sky is grey. That’s an answer. I could also suggest the sky is either blue or gray but no other colour, that’s acceptable. Or maybe that the binomial dissection of the blue sky and grey sky points to Birmingham. However, none of these really help us

Is the answer Christopher Columbus?

The zones thing seems to make absolutely no sense. And there is no question, you've just stated some facts. What subject is this anyway? Psychic studies?
