I've got an external harddisk hooked up to one of my minis and earlier on today it decided I couldn't write to it (although I could ready fine). I rebooted the Mac and now it won't mount
When I go into Disk Utility it's there but greyed out, I select it and click mount and it says it can't be mounted, try running first aid. I run first aid and it says everything is perfectly fine, but it still won't mount!
I've checked the /volumes directory to make sure there wasn't a rogue file in there, tried repairing permissions on the system volume and even plugged it into another mac and still no joy.
Really haven't got a clue what to try next.. OS X seems to thing everything is fine, but won't tell me why it won't mount.
