Help: external water-cooling

Hi folks

I think I'm having a senior moment here...

I currently have bulkhead qd3's (bulkhead female G1/4 internally, https://www.overclockers.co.uk/kool...coupling-g1-4-bspp-thread-blac-wc-153-ka.html) fixed 3/4 od 1/2id on the outside tubes (https://www.overclockers.co.uk/kool...-coupling-compression-for-10mm-wc-109-ka.html but with 16/19mm) going into my case but I'm finding when I push my case back into the rack it is kinking the tubing.
I managed to snag a nice 4u short depth high HDD count case so I'm moving again to something different.


So, what I want to do, is move the whole of the qdc outside the case as it's a lot of money to replace the whole thing.

So, what im thinking..

This guy threaded into the bulkhead G1/4 male fitting that sits outside the case.

What I can't work out is...how do I get the female threaded end of this through the case and be watertight...

Yes that thing you linked accepts a g1/4 female fitting on either side - it's not 100% same as fillport as normally that has a removable stop fitting integrated on one side. You can also get "pcie slot passthrough" brackets that also accept a female g1/4 fitting on inside/outside the slot.

I used a passthrough bracket and have the QDCs about halfway down the tubing run to the external rad. Picture of internals at-

Always had the same issue with phone cameras as well hence why i don't use it anymore. Doesn't depict reality at all, especially when phones these days use image smoothing and other tricks but in actuality i think it makes the image look worse. DSLR and a tripod with the correct settings...

You’ve got a few options, the bulkhead type g1/4 pass through, pcie pass through.

I guess you could use a 90 degree fitting to then point your QD’s downward.

On my external setup I just have hose running outside the case to the QDC to give me the flexibility of moving me case while still having the QD ability.
