help! fan not spinning

hope this is right section.

fan on my sapphire x800gto2 has decided to stop working, i had an AC sliencer 5 on it and was running fine temps were good and no probs at all, but today it just didnt work only noticed when i started up game and saw the temp was 92c (from ati tray tools).

its been unlocked and overclocked and running great for ages(since i got it) card works perfect still no gliching or artifacts, fan just wont spin,

its not seized as i tried the original fan on it but still the same.

any ideas?

Sounds like the fan header on the card has blown, might want to wire the fan up to a molex/3pin adapter. If it only has a red and black wire it is fairly easy to do, just line up the corresponding coloured wires on the 3pin cable

thx im thinking of doing it, may also try a passive cooler like the zalmen one, anyone know if they are any good?

That will prolly work but you will lose the adjustabilty of the fan controller and the fan will spin at full pelt all the time (or at 7V if modded further)
