Right guys just built my new rig with 5x 120mm fans. linked to a aska fan controller. When i hit the power button the fan contoller lights up but none of the fans spin. I'm guessing im not sending power to them correctly..

This is how i have it linked direct molex connection from PSU- to fan controller then then fan 1-4 connect to my fans with a 3 pin plug that goes from the fan.
The controller as 4 3 pin adapters to so i guess im doing that part right ?

With my psu theres a fan only Y shaped lead do i need to use this.??
Can anyone tell me the correct way to link these fans to the contoller so they work

Akasa AK FC-03 Fan Controller Pro
Noctua NF-S12 1200RPM 120mm Silent Case Fan - 3 Pin

controller and fans im using

Anyone mind explaining exactly how i connect the Fans so they have power and then also controlled by my fan controller im a little confused. Never had one before so not had to set one up. do the Fan 1-4 cabled from the controller connect to Aux fan on the mobo or something ?

Ive added the 3 pin to molex convector that came with my fans so there at least working now. But how do i then get the controller to control them ??

The ones i`ve ever installed i just connected the molex that came with the Fan Controller to a spare Molex from the PSU,then connected the 3 Pin Fan Connectors to the Headers on the Fan Controller.Always works for me

This is how i set it up yestruday, one direct molex to the controller.. ie the one molex connector it as, then all the 3 pins to the 3 pins on fan 1 fan 2 fan 3 fan 4 etc..

The fans fail to spin but the controller as power as it lights up..

can anyone please help a newbie :p

Can't see that you're doing anything wrong.
Have you tried a different molex from the PSU? Or a different 3 pin fan on the controller?
Could be something to do with the thermal probes monitoring, you fiddled with them?

So buy running a single molex to the molex connector on the fan controller and then connecting all the fans ie fan 1-4 to fan 1-4 connection on the controler im doing it right.. I thought so but then when i boot the fans refuse to spin, when i then twist the noobs to increse the speed the fans tries to spin but its like its not getting enough power..

As i said PSU is a brand new corsair 620 watt.. should be enough power to run them and my xmas lights :D
