Help figuring out a photoshop feature!

Hi, ok basically I can't remember the name (or I just don't know ) of a feature in photoshop - so I can google for a tutorial.

I am creating a brochure template and I want to have a fixed box that I can insert a photo into that box and edit/zoom/adjust the photo to my liking without the photo coming out of the box or overlapping anything.

Its pretty much a fixed template but I can just easily change the photos/text for my liking.

I don't know how to do it, and I can't remember what its called for me to google it

Essentially called Masking although it's a bit fiddly in Photoshop.

I actually found it, I just created a smart object and it did exactly what I needed.

do you have access to Indesign? Much better suited for this kind of thing.
