So this old game i had aaaaaaaaaages ago. I cant remember much of it but you'd fly like biplanes, triplanes (i remember my favourite being the Sopwith Camel) and you would bump into The Red Baron and stuff... i can remember flying for hours over fields and having to follow trajectories i think. It was combat based so you would dogfight with other planes.

Not sure what else to add! Year... around 95-98, something like that!

Red Baron?

Hmmm if I cast my mind back to the old DOS days there were quite a few WW I & II dogfighting style games. Obviously Red Baron comes to mind as does War Birds but I think the game you are looking for is more than likely Dawn of Aces (lost countless hours to this).

edit: Actualy thinking about it Dawn Patrol sounds just what your after as the single player portion had you taking the roles of various famous "Aces" like the Red Baron and Max Immelmann.

Wasn't there a new games posted on here, a free one maybe that was based around WW1 dogfighting?

Came with x planes free and you could buy others?

Dogfight by Microprose. If the red barron is goving you trouble, go after him in the harrier ;)

Knight of the sky was another good ww1 dog fighting game too.
