Help finding calirbration/colour settings ue40f6400

Hey guys, im hoping some of you guys will be able to help with this, ive recently got this TV as a gift ue40f6400 and while impressed (coming from a 15" CRT lol) im not so happy with how the picture looks at all, looking quite faded and washed out - had a quick google and it doesnt seem a popular model with not many settings to be found, dug up a few 2012 model ones but unsure if they will cross onto the 2013 model that i have..

Anyone help me out with this, would really hate to have to tell the person i dont like it lol.

Bugger thought id be able to find a ball park for the panel, but thinking about it every panel will be different one of those things i should have thought about before posting - I dont currently have any DVD player or games console in the house at the moment, so the disc will have to wait a while, unless i can stream from pc to TV and still make it work (ill have to look into that, its got wifi and is a smart tv). This is my first LCD TV, ive made do with a 15" crt portable for years lol.

Ive managed to get colours looking a bit more vibrant, using the picture perfect videos guide, havent finished it all yet but its an improvement over stock settings (eco dimming was playing havoc which i didnt know till i turned it off)
