help finding caviar

I have a tin of Red Caviar, from Russia, that I could flog to you.
Also have a jar of Black Caviar, also from Russia. I suspect it's out of date by now, but it's never been opened.

Don't know why you'd want the stuff though, it's foul (and I LOVE seafood).

Salmon/Trout Roe is pretty common in a decent supermarket. If you want Sturgeon then you're going to have to go to a more specialised shop and be prepared to pay for it...

If the stuff you have from Russia is real caviar it should really be served within about 2 weeks. It should also be refrigerated.

How can caviar be that cheap?

It isn't caviar.

According to the United Nations' Food and Agriculture Organization, roe from any fish not belonging to the Acipenseriformes species (including Acipenseridae, or sturgeon stricto sensu, and Polyodontidae or paddlefish) are not caviar, but "substitutes of caviar".[9] This position is also adopted by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora,[10] the World Wide Fund for Nature,[11] the United States Customs Service,[12] and the Republic of France.[13]
