help finding dos command

I've lost a script I wrote weeks ago. Managed to rewrite it, but there was a calling batch file which had a command in it which I can't figure out what

The kicker is that I don't even know how to describe it properly so nothing is coming up in google search

let me explain

I have a folder

C:\FOLDER 1

When I open that folder up, it contains two sub folders

SUBFOLDER1
SUBFOLDER2

Now....SUBFOLDER1 is actually D:\SUBFOLDER1 and SUBFOLDER2 is E:\SUBFOLDER2

There is a dos command which links, joins, combines folders from another drive inside folders. Does anyone know this command

sounds like your after folder re-direction (much like the "my documents" folder)...but cant think how to go about it right now..
