Help finding drivers

Thanks to a hardware failure I've had to downgrade my parents pc to an old AMD 3000. Everything went fine but the only thing missing is the onboard motherboard audio driver. I've had a good look around the manufacturers website and the only things they have to download dont work. plus I've tried 3 different auto driver update program thingamies and they didnt find anything!
Please someone help lol or my parents will murder me!

I dug up the realtek win7 drivers and everything was recognised fine. But the sound device refuses to start, so I've just left it for now :/

Surprised Win7 did not chuck it's own driver on. How old is it exactly?

Is it enabled in the BIOS?
