help finding my windows 8 keys on laptop

hi guys, i brought a laptop a little while ago with windows 8 pre installed im looking to do a fresh install but cant find my key and the laptop didnt come with any product key sticker is there any way i can find the key? thanks in advance

I know of a tool called oem-dm dumper.

That would do the trick.

Another is called Windows 8 Product Key Viewer.

Al laptops bought via a reputable dealer/OEM have the Windows producy key sticker on the bottom of the laptop or under the battey.

ive got the asus g750js and brought it brand new and there is no product key sticker on the botton or under the battery

True for before w8...all you get now is a sticker with no code as its hard coded into the bios and needs said tools to be extracted

If there isn't a sticker anywhere on the computer, then it's hard coded into the BIOS and it should be picked up during the install process without any work done as long as you're using the correct version of windows 8 that relates to the key as it will tell you where to go if you aren't.
