Help fitting a Alpine HU

I have a apline mp3 head unit and wanna fit it into my astra. I currently have a sony and that went straight in. I have noticed that the apline HU requires a direct connection to the battery and a earth point. Is there anyway I can just rewire it(easily) straight to my cars iso connector?

I've got an Alpine 9855 in a Fiat Bravo and don't have a direct line to the battery or sort any earth points. I think that's only neccessary if it's powering loads of speakers or something.

I just use the ISO and it works fine.

Should just plug straight in is the sony connectors are like what i think they are
All earths and lives are on the multi plugs on the back of the stereos
