Help fitting.. Dfi lan party.

Picked a DFI land party x48 board. By the GFX cards it has a 5v/12v connector, with a socket that looks like a 4 pin fan connector called FDD

. It says to connect these up for increased stability when using GFX cards. Do i need to? the book says it will work without.

My PSU connects directly into the gfx card. im really confused cause i dont have any sockets that look like that on my psu :confused:

Looking at pics they look like floppy disk drive power connectors - probably why they're listed as 'FDD'.

You should have some that are part of the 4pin molex cable runs on your PSU.

Look like this:

I've had boards in the past that used the 4 pin molex's but i suppose this is the same idea. Just adds a little stability to the GPU's when needed.
