A bit of wierd problem this, I'm really hoping someone knows how to fix it. I've just put together a new PC and everything seems to be fine. However, I realised this eveningn that I can't play some videos full screen - as the PC is intended to live under my TV, playing video is pretty important.

Some video works, for example the output of the TV card played via mediaportal is fine. But I was just looking on the bbc iplayer and although I can play the video files when they are contained within the page if I go full screen I just get a blank. Similar problem wiith youtube - videos are fine until I fullscreean and then I either get just black, just white or grey. I think it might just be videos that use some sort of flash interface - has anyone heard of such a problem.

Please help!

ps. Should add running vista buisiness 64. The problem is the same under firefox 2 and ie 7.

Typical, I've spent hours looking for a solution and no sooner do I start a new thread and the next page I look as the answer. It seems that right clicking the non-fullscreen flash player and unselecting the 'hardware acceleration' button has fixed things. Though that said I don't know what the downside of not having hardware acceleration is!
