help flashing bios

im trying to flash my bios to the latest firmware to use the new richland apu i have created a bootable usb and drop my new firmware in the directory but when i boot to dos i type in the number for the bios update and i get a error problem allocating memory

then says bios is updated when it hasten has an :confused:

y 1 else had this problem

Which motherboard are you using?

There's usually a utility in the BIOS for flashing which updates from a memory stick with the new BIOS file on it.
