HELP!! folder wont open....

Ive got a folder with well over 100gb of films and stuff in and it now wont open? the drive its on has other folders and they all work fine, drive isnt faulty ( ran the maxtor testing software on it) it just wont allow me to open the 100gb+ folder... when i try it says "this drive is not formatted... would you like to format it now?"

I know this folder has stuffin it but its reporting as empty... i can even drag files INTO it and they copy fine, i just cant open it? anyone have a clue as to whats going on?

Turns out the drive is dying after all.... after trying a fair few different data recovery utilities the only one that worked was the trial from http://www.file-recovery.net/

This actually found the data but i had to buy it to recover it... about £18 so i thought "what the hell". paid via paypal and got a direct download.... installed and now its happily recovering my data!! something norton couldnt do.

So i can recommend this software to anyone having data recovery problems.. they have really saved my bacon!
