I'm in touch with a guy over on a linux forum who is having problems with his hardware. More specifically with his ram. He reports that he can run memtest+ for over 24hours with no problem, but when running apps he gets memory errors.

I've also asked for some specifics so the actual hardware can be considered, but have yet to get a response.
Thanks in advance.

Anyone got any suggestions for my friend?I still lack a test that will automatically tell me whether the system is prone to RAM-related failures, whether they are due to Voltage, bad RAM, bad motherboard, bad CPU, etc.
