Help for specs on a laptop

Hi,
I am looking at getting a laptop to use almost exclusively for sound editing, mixing and music playback through programs like Numark CUE. This kind of software obviously using a large amount of RAM and processing power and i would need a large hard drive (300GB ish) to store music and a high quality sound card.
Could anyone help me out with finding a decent laptop for this kind of thing as i have little experience in this matter.

If your serious then none of the integrated soundcards are going to be up to scratch. You will be able to add an expresscard soundcard to any topend laptop but even these tend to be a tad noisy. Personally though I would go with a decent usb setup, something like an M-Audio or a E-MU 0202 at the very least.

As for the other criteria all major brands have a multitude of models that cover the spec you need so pick what takes your fancy.
