help! - forgotten windows live ID login

I can't remember what my log in for my 'games for windows' live ID was yet I can remember my gamer tag - is there a way of retrieving my login details using my email address or the game key that is locked to that account?

I don't know if it's my usual email address though and I tried it but it did nothing for me anyway

Right I can't play Dirt2 without this account so can I find out my email and/or pw from having the Gamer tag?

I've searched on the gamesforwindows website about it but its just a load of ******** there.

How many e-mail addresses could you possibly have? Couldn't you just try them all? I doubt you're going to get far without the e-mail address the account is registered to.

Because being to retrieve the password or email from having just the gamer tag would make the whole thing really secure

I realise that now :') but I'm pretty sure it's my windows live account address but if I try "forget your password?" option it only makes me change it - along with it being my msn account email+pw combo. Is there at least any way of playing the game with the same key but on a different account? (I doubt it but it's worth asking haha)
