HELP Format Cant see HD

Hi, My PC in sig I am about to do a full format on and reinstall my OS XP Pro.

Just unplugged my 2nd HD that I have saved all my data on so I don’t loose it.

Now stuck the XP Pro CD in the drive, booted, it began it’s process.
Then informed me:
Windows cannot find a hard drive on this computer, please check it is plugged in etc etc blah blah.

It of course has the HD in it as I am now on that computer writing this to you lot. I can see it in Bios etc (WD Raptor 74GB)




ANY ideas ?

need to add the sata driver to the cd using nlite, or press f6 during setup when it asks and put a floppy in with the driver on it
