help from 64 bit vista users please

i have just installed vista 64 bit from vista 32 bit but i have a major problem imo anyway. i cant get adobe flash player to install i have followed instrustions from a web link where you go into the windows/sysWOW64/Macromed folder and selcted the flash icon to run as admin and it should work i have done this but still cant get flash player to run any ideas would be grateful.

I had the same problem. Go to a site such as www.nvidia.co.uk that uses flash in their page and it will prompt you to install flash, worked for me

there's no 64bit flash, use the 32bit browser

better still, use firefox instead

You have to get IE to run as administrator too.

Infact, the best solution I found was turn off AUC (which is a bag of crap anyway).
