HELP! G11 macros not working

I received my awesome keyboard yesterday and its awesome! I really like the lights! Did I also mention that its awesome?!!

Ok now with the problem. This is my first 'gaming' keyboard and I've got no previous experience with macros whatsoever. Although I do consider myself quite competent with hardware.

I simply cannot get the macro keys to work. I downloaded the latest version of the profiler software and installed it. I also worked through the 'tutorial' where it teaches you how to program macros using notepad as an example. Still no avail.

Im running Windows 7 Pro 64bit and also have the setpoint installed for my mx1100 mouse. help me please :D
 
setpoint software is for your mouse only,

you need to install the logitech G series key profiler i believe

go to the logitech support site, find your keyboard choose your OS and download the latest software from there instead of using the supplied discs, :)
 
Yes I said I installed that too and followed the tutorial that came with it too on how to make macros but they arent working
 
Have you looked in the settings /profile i could not get my warcraft macros to work i Enabled Persistant Profile there and choose world of warcraft this solved it for me.

are you using 64Bit version of Win 7 by any chance?
I got a G11 last week and thought I must be missing something obvious as I couldn't get macros to replay either , even tho same as you the steps to create them worked fine.
I've just searched on the net and come across a few people with the same and they said go back to using the 3.03 drivers as the 3.04 on 64bit Win7 is b0rked.
I've just rolled back to 3.03 and it's now replaying macros.
You can get the older drivers from ftp://ftp.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/keyboards/

No problem Temi, glad it worked.
I'd thought at first it was just a problem with it identifying the game I was playing (Dystopia - it's a Half Life 2 conversion so it's a steam game and there a b*gger to get the profile set for), but then when I used the "persistant profile" option and it still wasn't doing anything I thought it must be something else.
 
Not so far, I've literally only done one as a test (didn't seem much point as it wasn't replaying them until the above mentioned rollback!),
just bound a few voice/radio comms to the G keys so far
Even without the G keys in use I'm finding it a nice keyboard, only thing is mine's missing the two feet/legs that should flip down to raise it up, and so far I can't find anywher to buy spares. (phoned logitech last week and the american service line said they don't do spares for keyboards..grr)
