HELP!

I've got a 19" Xerox 8ms display - my pride and joy. Basically, I'm getting image imprinting on it (the firefox toolbar at the top :o!). This is only very faint, but I don't want it to get any worse! My screensaver comes on after 15mins and the monitor turns off after 30. Although the PC is left on overnight, the monitor is turned off 'at the button'.

Is there anything I can do about this - or is it too late? I've put the screensaver to come on after 5 mins now, displaying random iTunes visualisation grabs.

Thanks guys. :(

Just after using firefox - it will appear just on the screen as a ghost. It's most clearly visible with a white screen (e.g. full screen in paint). Having not used the monitor this evening, it's faded, but I don't want to damage it.

Thanks.

This monitor is about 8 months old, and I have never experienced it before now. I'm glad (but kind of annoyed) that it isn't only me but I didn't know these Xerox monitors have that problem - I always do a thorough googling for known problems before I buy anything now.

I'll try reducing the brightness and contrast a bit. I doubt I'd be able to get an RMA on this monitor now tbh - already done it once for dead pixels - does anybody know the warrenty on Xerox monitors by chance (all docs / boxes are in the loft!)

Thanks guys.
