Help getting friend back online

Im trying to help a friend get back online, somehow hes managed to delete something (hes not sure what) but I noticed he has no options in Device Manager under "Network Adapter" just the yellow warning next to ethernet. couldnt find any driver details or any updates that fixed the problem (also if it helps his motherboard is a Gigabyte Z97M-D3H )

sound like he has deleted or corrupted realtek lan driver.if he still got the original motherboard disc just load it up and reinstall the realtek lan driver. if not go to http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4970#dl
this will depends what windows version he is using ie: windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit etc then to the right you will see download here just click on europe to download
