Hi there, i have 12GB of kingston hyperx genesis grey 1600mhz ram and i just cant get my system to boot with it running at that speed, it wont even boot at 1333mhz!
Full System Specs:
17 920 D0 @ stock for now
Gigabyte EX58-UD5
OCZ ZX 850w PSU
GTX 680 SLI
12GB Kingston HyperX
So I've gone into the bios and loaded the optimized defaults to make sure that nothing else is messing things up. I've tried the xmp profile with no luck and also input the settings manually with no luck. Here's what I'm using
Timings 9-9-9-27 1T
Ram Voltage 1.66v
Memory Multiplier 12 (for 1600mhz)
Uncore x24 (also tried x25)
I've left all other voltages on default for now but my system wont even post. I've also lowered the memory multi to 10 (for 1333mhz) and the uncore to x20 with no luck. I must be missing something here but not sure what? Any ideas?
