Evening all.

I'm currently installing a water block onto my GTX 470.
Problem is I'm down to the last screw to get the stock
cooler off and I've practically worn it down until the
screwdriver won't grip it.
Really stupid, I know.
Does anyone have any ideas how to get it out
or am I pretty much screwed.
No pun intended.

Cheers,

Dave.

Unable to post a pic unfortunately.
Good idea with the pliers, I tried it tentatively
with the set I have but no joy so far I'll
keep trying though.

How much damage can you do to the brown bit
around the screw before you totally Bork the card?

I tried it with the handheld drill but there is nothing for
it to grip onto. :(

Thanks for all the input folks.
I think I'll head into town tomorrow
and try to get hold of a screw
extractor kit. I'll let you know how
I get on. :)

So I was about to head into town today but decided that I'd have a go at it with my hand held drill before I did, and it worked! I've put my loop back together GPU included, and now I'm trying to max out the oc on my gtx 470. Happy Days! :)

Currently got it sitting at 1.087v
Core: 850
Shader: 1700
Mem: 1674

Max temps of 57*C when using Kombustor
