help getting sound via hdmi

Hi guys, need a little advice. :confused:

Just bought a GTX 470 graphic card from oc this week. I have bought the hdmi mini adapter as it didn't come with any cable's, and can now get picture onto my HD TV fine, but there is no sound atm.

With my old card (9800GT) i had a small cable running from the MB to graphic card for HD sound, but i cannot find any such ports/connections on this new graphics card.

how can i get sound to come from my TV, is it even possible via HDMI with this card?

There is:

Go into the nvidia control panel.

Under display, select the change resolution option.

On the right hand side you will see an option for connector.

Make sure you have HDMI (audio enabled) selected in the drop down.

In Windows, on the bottom right of the desktop in the notifications area, right click the speaker icon, click playback devices, select Nvidia HDMI output and press "Set default".
