I'm currently running i5-4670K with a Matterhorn Pure heatsink, G1 Sniper Z87 board, Team Vulcan 8GB 1600mhz RAM, a Superflower 650W gold rated PSU and a Sapphire 270X inside a BitFenix Ronin case.

The 270X was always a short-term card (does anybody know what I could sell it for?) and I'm looking at either the KFS2 Black or G1 970s, but I also want to finally get an SSD for the OS drive and a heatsink that will give me a performance boost (but quieter, as the default fan on the Pure is pretty loud). I intend to push the CPU, but not planning on overclocking the GPU massively.

Budget is around £4-500, so what should I be looking at?

I have put off buying a new card until now as I've been awaiting the new AMD range to see what performance they offer and any affect on prices they have across the board, but as at today I could get one of those cards and sell Batman for ~£20 so get the card for around £270. Is it likely AMD will have anything to compete with that?

And I'm sure Gibbo mentioned a week or so ago that the 980ti won't impact 970 prices - and the current 980 range is way over the top (and I only game at 1080p so it wouldn't be worth the cost).
