Help having problem

And the award for the most concise post goes to... ;)

I'm assuming USB devices. Firstly are they plugged into USB 2.0 ports? Sometimes if devices are plugged into USB 3.0 ports they won't work initially. Secondly is the 'USB legacy devices' enabled in the BIOS?
 
Yes to both, it's a relatively new build except I'm using same hard drives / ssd from previous build.
 
You might need to do a fresh install of the operating system.

I assume you tried unplugging and re connecting the mouse and KB after the operating has loaded, can you here any sounds at all.
