After much hard work we have a short film green-lit. We have crew, location, equipment, screenplay and 3 out of 4 actors ready to go but we still need a leading man. As the scriptwriter, I've been asked to compose a shortlist of actors that I can envision playing the leading man. I've wracked my brain this weekend but could do with a bit of fresh thinking.
This is where you guys come in.
The character has been around the block. He has been there, done that and killed people who got in the way. He is handsome, yet clearly can handle himself - so no pretty boys. Think Daniel Craig, Gerard Butler and maybe Clive Owen.
Preferably British (as Americans would be harder to get over here), late 20s to mid-30s playing range.
Any level of fame from Hollywood to Hollyoaks. While I doubt we'd get Daniel Craig, big actors sometimes do grass-roots films, so don't hold back, although, the more unusual or lesser known the more interesting. Thanks for any suggestions!
