My tv screen has stopped working, is there anyway i can use my laptop screen as my pc screen if i plus the pc upto the laptop?

Please help :)

nope, it would be like plugging another pc into the back of yours, and it then displaying that output on your monitor. Just get the tc fixed/replaced :D

Yeah but im trying to fix someones computer this evening, money money money, cant do anything without the bloody screen, have to go to my mates tomorrow instead.

Going to have to buy a lcd screen or something to use instead!

if you happen to have a tv card on your laptop and some form of tv out on the gpu on the pc your trying to fix, its posible. Possible to VNC too but useless if your trying to do a windows setup

There must be someone nearby that has a spare screen. I had two until last week - gave one away but still have the second.

But I'm too far away to be of any help to you.

But there must be someone like me closer by.

Cheers,

Nigel

I posted it on facebook last night and my friend text me today, shes offered me a free tft screen :) very nice of her :D

& i hope it works out too, being doing a lot of work lately for people, enough to quit my second job anyway and now im slowly building up some assets and registering as a home company and working full time with this running along side :) exciting stuff

thanks anyway!

Just make sure you keep your overheads low and dont splash out on things you dont really need like expensive laptop etc.

A good extra is to supply a decent antivirus if needed. Its surprising what you can buy kaspersky for at auction and then sell on for good profit but still give the customer a really good price :)

Word of mouth is the best. I am lucky as i live in a smallish town where everyone knows everyone so people soon get to hear about me though i do advertise as well in local monthly magazine.

Paperwork can be a pain but the wife seems to enjoy it :)
