Hello!

I am using anchor bolts to fix brackets to a wall. I've installed/ hammered the bolts into the wall. Now one of the bolts has slipped down inside the expansion sleeve and it's wedged in tight. I can't seem to fish it out.

Has this ever happened to you? What do you suggest I try doing? Any tools out there to help with this problem?

Thanks in advance!

Before now I've used something like a long flat blade screwdriver to get the nut aiming in the right direction and then a longer bolt to thread on to the nut and pull it back in to place.

If its in tight you might have to knock it through and use a new one

EUREKA!

At first I didn't think this would be possible, but it turns out that there is a void behind the wall I was hammering into. So exactly this - I just hammered another anchor bolt in its place. Job done!

Thank you!
