HELP - how do I start narrowing down where's the problem?

Before you spend any money you could try increasing a few voltages.

Might be that a little more vcore sorts it out.

Any chance you could elaborate a bit on the subject? I know that raising voltages relates to overclocking, but how would you see it fixing the problem here? What effects of it could potentially make this better?
