Help how do you have a 2 player of GOW

Never connected more than 1 pad to me 360 and im trying now and for the life of me cant work out how you get a 2 player game going as it only lets 1 person sign it at once, have created 2 profiles but cant get any further.

Need a prats guide, cheers.

all i do is connect both controllers and then load co op mode.
OR start one player mode and then sign in with the second controller. Worked for me a few hrs ago.

get the person on the second controller to press the middle x button thing, then load a profile.. then it should be pretty straight forward.

I dont own one yet but i think thats what i do at my mate.s
