I want to run my Core2Duo Extreme at 3.6ghz.
So I just dropped the multiplier to 9, upped the memory to DDR2 800, Voltage to 2.1, and set the fsb manually to 1066mhz (there is also an option there for 1333mhz).
PC boots fine and it is holding the multiplier change, but the memory stays at 667mhz. CPU-Z is picking up my cpu as an E6600 (9x266) !!
Help!! anyone !!
This sounds like a real noob question I know and I have overclocked lots before just not on Intel. Must be something simple I am missing.
Also my board is 306 and is using latest bios.
<edit> Ok, just saw this burn in % in the bios. So what does this do exactly ? </edit>
