Because it says reinstall Origin. Have you tried reinstalling? Perhaps something has become corrupted somehow?

I used to get this when installing a fresh OS yet leaving origin 'installed' to another drive, found out quite quickly it was far less hassle just to remove origin and its games and reinstall the lot from the start of a clean OS.

damn jumped in for a quick game oh well thanks guys now I need to find out where it's installed uninstall then reload all games..

You don't need download all the games again, just copy the Origin Games folder and replace it when you reinstall Origin.

This will also help. Buying Fifa just means you get the same game multiple times, with a few different menu options. Lunacy.

Origin actually offered the solution but only after I rebooted the pc..
