Help I jailbreaked my iPhone 4s but it won't network unlock

Hi guys, I need help , my mate jailbreak my new iPhone 4s pay as go which is locked to t-mobile or orange but I want to keep using gift gaff which I use on jailbroken iPhone 3G, the jailbreak went fine on 5.0.1 on my 4s but the networks won't unlock, is there a unlock out yet? ,and which is best , what are my options here, can it be done for free or would I have to pay for it as I've heard apple would unlock it for a fee..thx

whoever originally owned the phone will have to contact tmobile and probably pay a fee

The 4S isn't unlocked yet and may never be.

It needs to be unlocked by the carrier it is locked by.

It's almost definitely locked down by the carrier. You'll have to pay an unlocking fee, more than likely.

Stick a t-mobile payg sim in it
call t-mob customer services
request unlock (will cost you about £15-20. can't remember actual figure)

t-mob will unlock for free but it can take up to 30 days to get a code.

He wasn't calling you a thief, he just asked if the phone was stolen. Don't take everything personally, there was no need to be abusive.

Check out the recent Dinozambas2 video on youtube. Its the unlock for 4s and 4. He does them both in the latest video.

dosent work anymore,went itno the orange shop but was told id have to wait 3months then they would unlock it for £20,dam guess il have to wait
