help I need somebody

Hello all,

Basically, I'm running Linux mint 10, just downloaded the required update and have now lost my bar with min, maximize and the ability to move the windows....
I can only move them via left clicking them on the task bar. This is getting kinda annoying as I'm using two windows to do work and having to go to the task bar un-maximize and then selecting move as i switch between documents is getting on my man boobs.
Am i missing some secret option or is my install messed up?

So your windows have no decorations? Hold alt and click anywhere on the window and drag it, does that work?

Nope just resized it, still no decorations

are you running compiz? if so run the setting manager (ccsm) and change the WM / Window Decorator, should be near the bottom: make sure its ticked. What is your window manager? what desktop are you using, gnome, kde .. version?
