Hey guys,

Had an issue with my internet lately spiking ( Think its something to do with Win 10). Today I thought about reinstalling network drivers, only problem was I uninstalled the driver without the file being downloaded already and now have no connectivity to get the driver! Tried getting Windows to search but it cant do it as I have no internet signal. I'm on a wired connection through the use of a powerline adapter through the mains. I've tried browsing online to see what I need to get on the other computer but I dont want to download something that will mess up my new system. Can anyone give me a hint as to what I need?

So just a summary - I went to device managers > Network Adapater > Then uninstalled whatever Intel adapter it was (Not sure of name!)

My system is the following one:

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/infi...700k-4.7ghz-ddr4-sli-gaming-pc-fs-467-oe.html

Any help is greatly appreciated:(

EDIT:

I dont have a CD Drive so cant even put in the Motherboard disc (which I think I might have to? Correct me if im wrong). If I can do it without the disc that would be great. If not let me know and I'll go out and buy a USB CD Drive.

Hi, first of all, what a system! I am quite jealous :p

You should be able to find the latest drivers available to download from the Support and Downloads page for your motherboard on the Gigabyte website.

Here is a link to the download page for your motherboard www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5564#dl

Should be a case of downloading, transferring to USB stick, transferring to the system in question, installing then away you go.

Thanks for the quick responses guys. Got it working again! Its a lovely systems. Works a treat and handles everything I throw at it. Now just to get into streaming :p Just need to handle these ping spikes which are happening. Any idea what they are ? I never had them before picking up this system and moving to Windows 10.

Heres a wee quick over view of what I'm getting.

If you're doing comparison checks use the same target IPs.

Are both PCs using Powerline adapters?

To get the router IP open a command prompt and type IPCONFIG. In the text that's returned they'll be the default gateway, that's your router's IP address.
