I need to know if I'm stuck with some of the new stuff I just won't use.
Can I turn off spotlight?
Can I delete the voice memo icon as it pushes me onto 3 panes?
Can I remove the MMS stuff from the SMS pane, or at least stop it texting me about enabling MMS messages every time I send a normal text?
Can I stop it turning the text message and email options into landscape mode when I'm texting while lying down? I don't like the keyboard and it's just not very natural feeling like that.
Any help would be wonderful. I'd rather not downgrade to 2.2, some of the APIs they've added mean that the apps coming out soon are going to be amazing. It's just a shame that the APIs are the only good thing they've done. :/
