Help Identify This Game From the 90's

This may well be an impossible task. Back in the 1990's (between 1996 & 1999) I played a game that I got on one of those freeware/shareware discs (bought at PC shop) it had taster games, demos & some full stuff on it.
I remember very little, at the start you has these either towers or cloud things & you had these bridgey things that trundled out across the sky to neighbouring ones.

I know that is stuff all to go on but it is driving me mad

Honestly I know it is a long shot I remember when the connecting bridge things trundled out it made this whirring sound & there was the constant sound of wind. I could never get the game to play beyond that point & it has bothered me for years

My goodness! That looks different than I remember it (hardly surprising it was years ago) but that may be it & you may be quite brilliant! I'm off to have a proper look I will return

Well you're both brill. That has bugged me for years... top notch! And considering the complete lack of rememberings (it is a real word honest) on my part that is pretty impressive thanks

Oh I know, that is why it has taken me all these years to find it. The hours I've spent searching the net for this. Still can't quite believe that they found it for me
