Need a little help plz

Basically I was following a guide on another website to find out the maximum of my hardware: HTT/FSB: 329, CPU: 2441, and RAM: 214

the results dont seem that impressive do they?

am i doing something wrong - shouldnt I have took the top result from gogars config thing.

the machine is v stable at the current cpu clock but cant help but think that the 266RAM is a massive decrease in performance compared to the cpu...

in all honesty I dont think the ram is v good for overclocking. its the EM3200..

help would be very much appreciated

specs atm are:

Opteron 144 (at 2.4ghz) 8x305 - vcore 1.55 - temps are fine.
2GB Mushkin EM3200 (running at 266... 2.6v..)
Asus A8N-SLi SE
Reference nVidia 7900GT (not oc)
Hyper 550w PSU

Harddrive has recently gone pop - RMA'ing it when I can be arsed. At the minute im using a *cough* 20gig maxtor

thought the multi on a 144 was 9? why are you running the 8 multi?

Doesn't that board default to 8x ?

Yea, it does default to 8, and it should be 9. but I followed the steps from 2nd link.

thats why i wanted help

I guess i should try 305x9 and/or DDR333 aswell. prolly crash and die.
