OK, so I have my Intel E8200 overclocked to 3.2Ghz, that's a FSB of 400 and a multiplier of 8.

Problem - The Rated FSB shown here is as high as my motherboard is rated at now, if I go higher on the CPU frequency, will that increase, and will taking that over my motherboards rating screw my system over.

Mobo is a Gigabyte EP45-DS3R
RAM is 2GB 800Mhz Corsair XMS2.

Or maybe if you increase the multiplier? 9x multiplier and 356 FSB would give you close to what you have currently, with more room to increse it :)

But yea, like Ozzie said, have you just tried increasing it more?

8 is the max multi on a e8200. You need to push your bus speed higher it may require more nb volts and ram volts if you're keepin the same timings unless you change the divider.

3.6 is already a good score, if you have good chip you might get this to 3.8 with still decent volts or might be able to push up to 4ghz or higher ( again considering you have good chip).

Yet again if you can keep the volts low @3.6 then it's all good.

Make sure your temps are in range ( wouldnt go higher than 62-64c fully stressed ) and do a prime/orthos run and few hrs of straight gaming to check if its stable.

Remember, just because you can get your CPU to 4,2GHZ doesnt mean it's stable/safe :). So keep an eye on temps.
