Hello, im looking to just
1) play dota 2
2) Lightroom photoshopping
3) Youtube/ microsoft word / web surfing / face book / view videos.

I would like a rig that can do 1) + 3) or 2) + 3) at the same time. My budget is 200 pounds including monitor and keyboard. Can i do it ? The below is my proposed build.... any suggestions ? Im very lost.

AMD A8-5600k 77.05 pounds

MSI FM2-A55M-E33 Micro ATX FM2 43.50 pounds

Corsair 8gb (2x4gb) 1600Mhz DDR3 26.94 pounds

Fractal mATX Case 34.28 pounds

Corsair PSU 430W 37.73 pounds

160GB 3.5" SATA Harddrive - DESKTOP HDD 160 GB Hard drive disk 15.99 pounds
Total = 235.

I am overbudget already.

I am thinking of combining Case + PSU together from this deal here:

or

With this cost just costs around 30.00 pounds. Cutting down the price by 40,

So Total = 195.00 .

But i am very worried that the Case + PSU is really crappy / insufficient etc... I quite need a PC urgently to replace my laptop. My current laptop specs are
AMD Turion X2 RM-72. its a 2.1 ghz dual core. and ATI Radeon HD 3200. 3gb ram.

Looking to upgrade from this laptop so i can play dota 2 and do lightroom+photoshop + multitask.
Thanks for looking. Hopefully can get a system ready so i can finally get my hands to build it !

Remove the links to competitors.

never save money on a low spec psu. I have always stuck with corsair psu and have never had a problem.

For £40 difference i would look spending it just so you dont have put up with something you didnt want in the first place

keyboard is down to personal choice, i use the DiNovo Mini which is not suitable for your needs. i have favoured the logitech KB in the past, but not much in to gaming these days.

do you currently have monitor and kb at the moment?

might be worth just sticking with them for the time being and upgrade at a later stage :)

No i do not have a monitor and kb. Would it be hard to assemble the components that i put up there ? I've never done this before and im kinda pressured to buy the items very soon.

What do i actually need to be able to assemble them ? Is there a fool-proof guide on this ? I've just watched 1-2 videos on youtube which doesn't seem pretty complicated but that's about it.

Is there any equipments that i would need ? I read that i'd need a
1)anti-static wrist band

What else do i need ? Screwdrivers ? size ?

To build it you would need a Philip head screw driver and anti static wrist strap is optional but recomended if you don't ware one then touch a large metal object often

For instructions on how to build it look at neweggs YouTube channel you will see a 3 part video series I will say I think you might need more RAM

And good monitors do not come cheap and are one of the most exspensive things you will find your self buying on a budget build

If your motherboard has on board video and a HDMI port and U have a TV with a HDMI port and a lead to conect them this may be a tempoary option untill U have enough

sounds like you should just buy a used system online which can fit all of that you need in for much under £200 or if you want new then this:

YOUR BASKET
1 x "Primo PLUS 500i" Intel H61 DDR3 Ready Barebones (Socket 1155) £124.99
Total : £142.39 (includes shipping : £14.50).

would suit you as a starter and use the left over budget to add the other things.

edit: or one of the other kits that has the same amount or extra content for closer to £200.
