Help in choosing on which way to go either a Snake System or another - can anyone help

I'm trying to choose weather a Ultima Death Adder" Intel Core i7 960 3.20GHz system is a good choice for Photoshop/graphic use with the time to time game playing or is maybe a system like the Titan Triceratop" Intel Core i5 2500K 3.30GHz @ 4.40GHz a better way to go.

I would add a 120 ssd to either and the only thing thing i can be sure is that i can add 16 gig of ram to the titan - but on the otherhand is the I7 with tri chann ram going to as good or better.

I keep reading serveral different things on the net and still don't no?

if your software is likely to make use of hyper threading you would be better looking towards a i7 2600K based system.

Can you build one yourself? It would be cheaper
