Help in Hardware Choices

I am in doubt in what CPU Cooler and Optical Drive to buy for my build.

As a CPU Cooler I was thinking to get the Noctua NH-D14 and for the optical drive I was thinking of getting the Pioneer 24x Internal S19LBK DVD Rewriter

Suggestions?

I tend to just get the cheapest OEM DVD drive with a brand name,
