Firstly, I've never done this before so I'm very much new to the idea of bridging/repeating.

I have a router up several floors, and down below I have some computers that are networked together with a Netgear switch (model unknown at present). What I would like to do is take out the Netgear router, and in place a Tenda 311R+ router which I have accquired. I then want the Tenda to pick up the Superhub's wireless signal and transmit this to the wired computers, giving them internet access.

So, currently in place:
Upstairs - Superhub, wireless, internet access.
Downstairs - Netgear switch, to which several computers are wired to.

What I want:
Upstairs - Superhub, wireless, internet access.
Downstairs: Tenda 311R+ router receiving the wireless signal from the Superhub, and broadcasting the internet from the Superhub to the wired computers.

The Tenda router does have some WDS settings: Lazy, Bridge and Repeater. I've put the MAC address and security settings of the Superhub (picked up with InSSIDer) into the settings, but no go.

Help!

Usually to use WDS both ends of the wireless bit need to support it.

Nowdays people tend to opt for powerline adapters for this sort of job rather than wireless bridging. It's usually faster and more reliable.
